Syrah, Clairette, & Orbois from the Rhone Valley.

Light medium-bodied, dry. Bright red fruit and flowers on the nose with a palate of cherry, cranberry, and plum. The finish is dry and aromatic with soft tannins and lots of minerals.

Clos de Mourres is named after a wild lettuce Jean-Philippe used to gather with his grandfather. After harvesting mourres on their farm in the Southern Rhône, they would make a dinner of salad to accompany the other products they grew. Jean-Philippe keeps memories of these simpler times alive through the domaine that he runs with his wife, Ingrid. Together, they've amassed about 40 acres straddling Côtes du Rhône and Vaucluse.
