Fabulous and elegant this Txakoli is unique from its well-known bright and acidic counter parts. An outstanding expression made from 80% Hondarrabi Zerratia and 20% Izkiriota Txikia from, of course, D.O. Bizkaiko Txakolina. Fermented in both French oak barrels and stoneware amphora with slight oxidative development, the wine takes on a nutty, cinnamon spice flavor on the nose, but finishes lean and crisp.
