From one of our favorite winemaker friends, Craig Haarmeyer. This bottling is made up of Chenin Blanc hailing from the tiny Aparicio Vineyard in Amador County in the Eastern Sierra Mountains, where the fifty own-rooted, dry farmed, head-trained wines are going on 43 years of age. Upon harvest the grapes are pressed whole cluster to tank for one day of settling. They are then racked in barrique for unassisted fermentation to occur, before being left sur lie for 14 months.

The finished wine is bottled without fining or filtration producing a unique and stunning wine. Full, floral, with delicately laid orchard fruit.
