Chubini Cellars Saperavi Georgian RedTabula Rasa
2017 Chubini Cellars Saperavi from Kakheti, Republic of Georgia
Saperavi is the most widely planted grape in Georgia. It's name means "color/dye" in Georgian -- the skin AND the flesh of the grape are red in color. It can be inky and intensely tannic- this is a bold but very palatable expression!
Georgia is the birthplace of wine, dating back over 8000 years ago!
