85% Nerello Mascalese and 15% Nerello Cappuccio. Fermented in wooden vats and matured in aged French oak barriques. Aromas of red fruits, Mediterranean herbs, mineral with well integrated tannin. 

Davide Bentivegna started Cantina Etnella in 2008. With high respect for the land, Davide’s wines are terroir and varietal driven. The vines are planted on land that is terraced with stone walls constructed with the local volcanic stones so omnipresent on Etna's slopes. The close proximity of the vines creates fierce competition and forces the roots to point downward in the volcanic soil in search of water and nutrients.
