Bonnet-Huteau MuscadetTabula Rasa
Bonnet-huteau, located in the heart of Muscadet’s wine region, has been making wine for over 150 years. A family business now run by brothers, Jean-Jacques and Remi, only makes white wine from their 40ha biodynamic vineyard that has been certified organic since 2005 and is planted mainly with Melon de Bourgogne. The Goulaine, named from one of the new seven official communes in Muscadet, is made from 45 year old vines and spends 24 months maturing on lees.
This dry wine has a nice balance of minerality and fruit, with strong aromas of white flowers, tropical fruit, and candied apricot accompanied by salty wet stone and brioche
