Domaine Philémon is located in the northeastern quadrant of the Gaillac appellation in France. The Vieules family have had a vineyard in this area since 1804. Today the vineyard is run by Mathieu Vieules who, in addition to growing grapes, also grows wheat and sunflowers, all of which is farmed organically.

This is 100% Loin de L'Oeil which is normally considered a minor “blending grape,” some local producers – such as Domaine Philémon – experiment with this varietal to see how it does on its own. From an organic vineyards just north of Toulouse, this Perlé Nature is bottled with a little residual CO2 adding a fizzy finish!
