From an organic certified winery based in St. Emilion (the very one that makes the La Fleur Garderose Rouge that we carry!), Christophe Pueyo is set on boundary-pushing work in Bordeaux, an area not usually known for that sort of thing.

Pure Semillon, picked quite ripe, and allowed to ferment and macerate on its skins for ten months--without any punch-downs or pump-overs or any interference whatsoever--in a single terracotta jar, to which it returns after pressing for an additional eight months before being bottled without fining or filtering. Very toasty and nutty on the nose, and vibrant dried apricot, roasted pear and roasted herbs on the taste. Taste the terroir!
