La Onda‘s 2018 “Amor Amarillo” is a white blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc comes from a parcel in the Renaissance Vineyard farmed by winemaker Dani Rozman. Situated at a high elevation of 1,900 feet, the east-facing slope is composed of decomposed granite. It is not tilled and weed cover is allowed to grow between rows. It is also dry farmed, or not irrigated, which stresses the vines and results in high quality fruit.  This is a full, round, vibrant and luscious wine, fermented with wild yeasts, without additives, unfined and unfiltered, and bottlled with just very minimal added sulfites.
