Mathieu Coste MC2Tabula Rasa
One of our favorite Mathieu Coste wines yet! Savory and gamy, finished with ripe red fruit. Bold flavors, medium bodied.
50/50 Gamay and Pinot Noir (Zero/Zero)
Mathieu was a biomedical engineer before starting to make wine. Coste is located in the small town of Villemoison in the Coteaux du Giennois appellation in the Loire River Valley. While this is not a particularly well-known appellation of the Loire, it is located directly across the river and a few kilometers south from Sancerre. It produces great wines, mainly from the Gamay, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon varieties.
