Hailing from the strictly organic Rocco di Carpeneto farm in the hills of Piedmont, this 100% Dolcetto is a great example of what natural Italian wine has to offer. Big, bold black and red fruit are accompanied by great acidity and a powerful structure. The vineyard was mostly planted between 1955-1986, with these dolcetto vines being planted in 1970. The domaine focuses on growing exclusively native varietals following the “do nothing farming” principal with as little vineyard interruption as possible. This wine is fermented in old oak casks with extended maceration and spends 20 months at the very least in old barricades

Full bodied, dark fruit, smooth tannins, with slight spice and minerality!
